The Dadwell Podcast shares stories about maker / artist / designer dads who are managing thriving creative practices while remaining present, engaged, kick-ass fathers.

Each episode, Antonio García explores a different dad’s creative practice, fathering philosophy, and practical tactics for navigating the stress, fatigue, resentment, wonder, pride, and joy of raising the creative bar while simultaneously raising small humans.

Format & RELEASE SCHEDULE

Dadwell is a fortnightly long-form interview podcast. New episodes are released Friday mornings at 6:00am CST. Seasons are comprised of six 1-hour episodes followed by a 20- to 30-minute Season Recap. The first season launched on Father’s Day 2019. Seasons 1-3 are currently available via Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, Overcast, and countless other podcast services.

Dadwell & Co. is founded, hosted, and produced by Antonio García.

Antonio García is a design leader, educator, advisor, and one of 50 People to Watch in 2022.

In the 20 years leading up to Dadwell & Co., he worked across brand strategy, user experience, and social innovation—leading multi-disciplinary design teams in all types of creative environments—from small studios and in-house teams to global digital agencies and independent consultancies.

Outside of the design world, Antonio is an illustrator, deejay, marathoner, mentor—and most importantly—dad to Javier (9½) and Amaya (6).
